After a minutes silence for Harvey Willgoose, the game got under way with Hasland on top as we struggled to get any sort of control on the game. We couldn’t keep the ball out of our half and some good saves from Jessie kept us in until we were able to work ourselves into the game and start creating chances.
With both of the Hasland goalkeepers making some great saves, it took some time for any goals to be scored with Nevaeh in the right place when a chance came her way, half time came with it difficult to draw a line between the 2 teams.
The second half saw Hasland start dominant until the game settled into a familiar pattern of both teams pushing for goals but for Myla in our net, and both Hasland keepers pulling off good saves keeping the score down.
Both teams showed some good passing and individual skills mixed in with some good physicality making it a good game to watch.
Girl Of the Game could have gone to any girl but we decided to give it to Ellie who was only playing in her fifth game but showed some good positioning and defensive work especially in the first half.
Well done everyone :)
