We've had quite a few players this season, some new to the team and many new to football and this was their first big test against the weather. Most of our games so far we've been trying to keep players cool, not keeping them warm and so it was a new experience. They all braved the weather and worked really hard against the wind and rain.
There were lots of cold hands and ears but we competed well and had chances throughout the game.

Player of the Match this week went to Alice who played the whole game in goal, pulling off some great saves and kept on going for the team even when freezing cold.
Also, a special mention to our referee for the game. They were only young but we feel they reffed extremely well in difficult conditions.
Hopefully next week it will be less windy and a little drier for everyone!
