It was a very cold morning and some of the girls were feeling it but the girls all worked really hard.
I asked them to work as a team, win the ball back if they lost the ball and be as quick as they can about it.
The girls are really taking on their objectives and putting them into practice. We played out of the back well with Renae striding forward, feeding passes into Natalia to test their keeper.
The game was very competitive and well done to Elsecar who kept on battling and gave us a great game. Also, a great performance by the young referee who controlled the game well and made some decisions when called upon.
Player of the Match this week goes to Kasia who played amazingly well in goal, saving a penalty along the way. She didn't want to play all game in the net but as we were short, she stepped up to volunteer....a great team player.

Well done girls....on to the next round of the cup we go.
