The start of the game was a cagey one for both teams.
We found it hard at times on the wet surface to control the ball and get our passing game going and Barnsley grew in confidence and opened the scoring.
We kept going trying to manufacture an opportunity to score, Chan on the wing caused them a few problems going forward and the half finished 1-0 to them.

In the 2nd half we tried to change it around but
Barnsley started to look more dangerous going forward.
Our defence played their part with keeping them at bay and Laura made a fantastic double save to keep us in the game.

Barnsley had momentum and scored 2 more goals but again credit to the team as we kept going looking to try to score that goal.

Not the score line we wanted but we go again and plenty of positives to take from the game.

Player of the Match was Becky who was brilliant in defence with lots of great last ditch tackles to stop the opposition. A very controlled performance. Well done.
