We knew this was going to be a good Cup tie and we got off to a great start with Millie latching on to a great pass and a great finish to open the scoring.
This settled us down and we were on the ascendency as the game progressed.
Our Midfield stood firm, not allowing Worksop to settle on the ball.
As the game went on, Worksop in moments looked dangerous going forward but our defence were resilient.
We doubled our lead with another great run and finish from Rihanat, who scored her 1st goal of the season.
Half time came, a chance to debrief but it was more of the same needed in the second half.
Worksop started off strong but we coped with the onslaught which resulted in a brilliant individual goal from Harriet.
Worksop didn't stop and scored next but Millie completed her brace to make it 4-1, pushing the game further out of reach.
Worksop scored their second goal, making it nervous for us but the ladies defended really well from front to back.
A fantastic performance and effort from each and everyone of the squad of players.
We are very proud of how they played for each other to get through to our 2nd final in consecutive seasons.

Player Of The Match was Evie who didn’t put a foot wrong in our defence, driving forward making those crucial tackles. A special mention as well to Rihanat who was immense up and down the wings breaking up play and starting the attack which resulted in her first goal.

A fabulous performance ladies, we deserve our place in the final....just one more game.
