Players from our Under8s through to our Under12s were given the chance to learn about astronomy following a recent visit to Chesterfield Barnett Observatory.
Along with a questions and answers session, they were able to look through the sites 18" Newtonian telescope at the night sky and find out about how to star spot, how to track planets and we able to ask the great old question....is there another life form out there??

The girls had a great time and enjoyed the experience and we may have a few budding astronomers on our hands in the future.
