We are pleased to confirm that Charnock Ridgeway Junior Football Club has achieved FA Charter Standard for the 2019/20 season.
What The FA Charter Standard means for our club?
Clubs achieving The FA Charter Standard status can be proud to be the best place for people to play and enjoy football. They are able to demonstrate positive football environments where people can develop their skills, keep fit and enjoy playing as part of a friendly, inclusive community.
In return for becoming accredited The FA Charter Standard status, clubs receive access to benefits that help to attract and retain players, volunteers and supporters. The level of support and resources available will depend on the level of accreditation a club achieves. Benefits clubs experience include:
• Attract and retain players, supporters and volunteers
• Funding for football equipment
• Access to promotional resources and guidance
• Tailored support from The FA and County FAs
The FA Charter Standard is awarded to clubs and leagues that are well run, sustainable, which place child protection, quality coaching and safety paramount. The criteria is challenging and once awarded, FA Charter Standard clubs and leagues are given an annual health check to ensure the standards of provision are maintained.
By achieving an FA Charter Standard Club Award, clubs are able to demonstrate to all members, parents, sponsors and the public, that you are a well-organised, safe Club offering opportunities for all.
We are super pleased to be recognised for all the hard work and dedication our Club Committee, volunteers and Coaches provide and the support given by our parents and players – Well Done!
